امام علی علیہ السّلام کی خدمت میں ایک شخص حاضر ہوکہ عرض کرنے لگا کہ یا علی علیہ السّلام قبر میں انسان کی پہلی رات کیسے گزرتی ہے۔

تو امام علی علیہ السّلام نے فرمایا۔

میں نے اللّٰہ کے رسول صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم سے سنا انسان کی سب سے مشکل رات قبر کی پہلی رات ہوتی ہے 

جب دوسرے انسان رشتے دار، دوست، عزیز و اقارب، اس مرے ہوئے انسان کو دفنا کہ چھوڑ کہ چلے جاتے ہیں۔

وہ انسان روتا رہتا ہے ہر ایک کے پاس آتا ہے دوست و رشتے داروں کے پاس آتا ہے اور کہتا رہتا ہے مجھے چھوڑ کہ نہ جاؤ 

روتا رہتا ہے

روکنے کی کوشش کرتا ہے

لیکن افسوس اس وقت اس کی آواز کوئی نہیں سنتا؟

کبھی وہ ساتھ والی قبر میں دیکھتا ہے تو کسی لاش کا پیٹ پھٹا ہوا ہے

تو کسی قبر کی طرف دیکھتا ہے تو کسی لاش پہ کیڑے لگے ہوئے ہیں

تو کسی قبر میں اللّٰہ کا عذاب ہوتا ہے

وہ زاروں قطار روتا ہے

اپنے آپ کو تنہا محسوس  کرتا ہے

اللّٰہ گواہ ہے 

انسان اپنی زندگی میں اپنے آپ کو اتنا تنہا محسوس نہیں کرتا جتنا وہ قبر کی پہلی رات خود کو تنہا محسوس کرتا ہے

اس وقت اس کو ایسا لگتا ہے جیسے سورج ابھی ابھی ڈوبا ہے

اس کو اپنی قبر میں سرخ رنگ دیکھائی دیتا ہے اتنی دیر میں اس کے دائیں طرف سے دھواں اٹھتا ہے دو فرشتے اپنے بالوں سے قبر کی مٹی اکھاڑ کہ اس کے پاس آ پہنچتے ہیں۔

اور پھر پوچھا جاتا ہے تمہارا رب کون ہے، تمہارا رسول و امام کون ہے، تم کس دین پر زندگی بسر کرتے رہے؟

اگر مرا ہوا انسان سچے دل سے اپنی زندگی میں اللّٰہ تعالیٰ کو تسلیم کرتا رہا اللّٰہ کے دین پہ چلتا رہا تو وہ بے ساختہ حق کہنے لگتا ہے فرشتے اللّٰہ کے حکم سے اس مرے ہوئے انسان کو کہتے ہیں انتظار کر جلد تمہارے اعمال تمہارے پروردگار کے پاس پہنچا دیئے جائیں گے اس دن جس دن کا تمہیں بتایا گیا تھا۔۔

لیکن اگر اس مرے ہوئے انسان کے اعمال بد ہونگے وہ اللّٰہ اور اس کے دین پہ ایمان نہیں رکھتا تو وہ گھبرانے لگتا ہے فرشتے غضب ناک ہوکہ کہنے لگتے ہیں افسوس ہے تمہاری زندگی میں تمہیں بار بار  بتایا گیا تھا جس طرح تم سے پہلے انسان مر چکے ہیں یہ وقت تم پہ بھی آئے گا اور تم نے مذاق سمجھا اور یہ اس سے کہا جاتا جلد تمہارے اعمال تمہارے پروردگار کی دربار میں پیش کیئے جائیں گے۔

اس وقت اللّٰہ انسان کے اعمال کو زبان بخشتا ہے اور وہ بولنے لگتے ہیں اور انسان کے اعمال کو صورت بخشتا ہے۔

اگر انسان کے اعمال نیک ہوتے ہیں تو وہ خوبصورت شکل میں انسان کی رہنمائی کرتے  ہیں۔

لیکن اگر انسان کے اعمال بد ہوتے ہیں تو وہ ایک بد صورت ہوکہ اس انسان پہ لعنت کرتے ہیں۔

ابھی وہ فرشتے جانے ہی لگتے تو دروازا دمیر کھلتا ہے تو وہ پوچھنے لگا یا علی یہ دروازا دمیر کیا ہے۔

تو امام علی علیہ السّلام فرماتے ہیں۔

دروازا دمیر عالم ملکوت اور عالم برزخ کے درمیان ہے 

جیسے ہی دروازا دمیر کھلتا ہے تو عذاب کے فرشتے داخل ہوتے ہیں اس مرے ہوئے انسان کے ہاتھوں کی طرف پیروں کی طرف جسم کی طرف بڑھنے لگتے ہیں۔

لیکن اگر اس کے اعمال نیک ہوتے تو وہ کہنے لگتے ہیں اے فرشتو اس قدموں کو نہ چھونا کیونکہ یہی قدم ہوتے تھے جو اللّٰہ کےلئے چلتے تھے اللّٰہ کی مخلوق کی بھلائی کرنے کےلئے چلتے تھے نماز کے لیے جاتے تھے حج کے لیے جاتے ہیں۔

فرشتے جب ہاتھوں کی طرف بڑھتے ہیں تو وہ اعمال فرشتوں سے کہتے ہیں اے فرشتو ان ہاتھوں کی طرف نہ بڑھنا کیونکہ یہی ہاتھ ہوتے تھے جو اللّٰہ کی مخلوقات کی مدد کرتے تھے صدقات و خیرات کیا کرتا تھا۔

جب آنکھوں کی طرف بڑھتے ہیں تو اعمال کہتے ہیں انہیں آنکھوں سے اللّٰہ کے قرآن کو دیکھا قرآن کو پڑھا اللّٰہ کا نام دیکھا۔

زبان سے اللّٰہ کا نام لیا اللّٰہ کا قرآن پڑھا اللّٰہ کا ذکر کیا۔

اور اسی جسم کو یہ ہمیشہ گناہوں سے روکتا رہا۔

اعمال کہیں گے اے فرشتو!

تم اس پہ عذاب ڈالو گے

فرشتے آسمان کی طرف دیکھتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں اے اللّٰہ کیا حکم ہے اس کے لیئے تو آواز قدرت آئے گی اے فرشتو! اس کی قبر کو جنت بنا دو تب تک کہ وہ روز محشر ہماری دربار میں حاضر ہو۔

اور اگر اس انسان کے اعمال بد ہوتے ہیں تو فرشتے جب قدموں کی طرف بڑھتے تو اعمال کہتے یہی وہ قدم تھے جس وہ گناہوں کی طرف جاتا تھا، یہی وہ ہاتھ ہیں جس سے وہ دوسروں پہ ظلم کیا کرتا تھا، یہی وہ آنکھیں ہیں جس سے وہ نامحرم کو گندی نگاہوں سے دیکھتا تھا، یہی وہ زبان ہے جس سے وہ انسان کے دل دکھایا کرتا تھا، اور وہ فرشتے اللّٰہ کی طرف دیکھتے ہیں تو آواز غیب  آتی ہے اس کی قبر کو دوزخ کی آگ سے بھر دو جس طرح سے اس نے اپنے جسم میری نافرمانیوں میں استعمال کیا ہے میری دی ہوئی نعمتوں کا غلط استعمال کیا ہے ویسے ہی اس تکلیف کا مزہ چکھے تب تک جب تک کہ وہ روز محشر اس عذاب کے ساتھ میرے پاس نہیں آتا۔

اب جب اس کی قبر میں آگ لگتی ہے تو اس کی قبر سکڑنے لگتی ہے اور آس پاس کی قبروں والے اسے کہتے ہیں اے بدبخت تو نے اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھا تھا کہ تم سے پہلے ہم مر چکے ہیں۔

ایک دن تو بھی مرنے والا تھا تجھے تو موقع ملا تھا تو نے کیوں اچھے اعمال نہیں کیے، تو نے کیوں اللّٰہ کی مخلوقات کا احساس نہیں کیا۔

اتنی دیر میں وہ کہنے لگتا ہے مجھے پھر سے موقع دیا جائے میں پھر سے اللّٰہ کی عبادت کر سکوں۔

تو اسے عالم ارواح کا وہ وقت دکھایا جاتا ہے جب وہ پیدائش سے پہلے عالم ارواح میں رہتا تھا اس نے جو جو زمین پہ اپنے لیئے مانگا تھا وہ وہ سارے انعامات اسے دیئے گئے غربت سے لے کہ امیری تک، دکھ سے لے کہ تکلیف تک، خوشحالی سے لے کہ راحت تک، وہ ساری حقیقت اسے عالم ارواح میں دیکھائی گئی تھی کہ اس ساتھ کیا ہونا ہے وہ سب دکھایا جائے گا۔

پھر وہ رونے لگتا ہے کہ افسوس کہ میں نے اپنے ساتھ ظلم کیا میں اپنی ہی خواہشات کے پیچھے بھاگتا رہا کاش جیسا میں نے اپنے اوپر ایسا اور کوئی نہ کرے۔

اے شخص یاد رکھنا یہ زندگی ایک نیند ہے اور موت اس نیند سے بیداری کا نام ہے۔

A man came to the service of Imam Ali (as) and asked him how the first night of a man passes in the grave of Imam Ali (as).

So Imam Ali (as) said:

I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that the most difficult night of man is the first night of the grave.

When other human beings leave their relatives, friends, loved ones and relatives to bury this dead person.

He cries, comes to everyone, comes to friends and relatives, and says, "Leave me alone, don't go."

Keeps crying

Tries to stop

But alas, no one hears his voice at this time?

Sometimes he sees in the adjoining grave that the stomach of a corpse is torn

If you look at a grave, there are worms on a corpse

So in a grave there is the torment of Allah

He cries a lot

Feels lonely

God is witness

Man does not feel as lonely in his life as he does on the first night of the grave

At the moment it feels like the sun has just set

He sees a red color in his grave. At that moment, smoke rises from his right side. Two angels uproot the dust of the grave with their hair and come to him.

And then it is asked who is your Lord, who is your Messenger and Imam, on what religion did you live?

If a dead person sincerely acknowledges Allah Almighty in his life and follows the religion of Allah, then he begins to say the unadulterated truth. Will be delivered to you on the day you were told.

But if the deeds of this dead man are bad, he does not believe in Allah and His religion, then he becomes terrified. The angels become angry and say, This time will come upon you too and you considered it a joke and it was said to him: Soon your deeds will be presented in the court of your Lord.

At that time Allah gives tongue to the deeds of man and he begins to speak and shapes the deeds of man.

If a person's deeds are good, then they guide him in a beautiful way.

But if a person's deeds are bad, then he is a bad person and curses that person.

As soon as the angels started to leave, the door opened and he started asking, "Ali, what is this door?"

So Imam Ali (as) says:

The door is between Damir Alam Alamkot and Alam Barzakh

As soon as the door is opened, the angels of torment enter and begin to move towards the hands and feet of this dead man towards the body.

But if his deeds were good, he would say, O angels, do not touch these steps, because these were the steps that were taken for the sake of Allah, for the good of Allah's creatures, they went for prayers, they went for Hajj.

When the angels move towards the hands, they say to the angels, O angels, do not move towards those hands because these were the hands that helped the creatures of Allah and used to give alms and charity.

When they move towards the eyes, they say deeds. They saw the Qur'an of Allah with their eyes. They read the Qur'an and saw the name of Allah.

He took the name of Allah from his tongue, recited the Qur'an of Allah and mentioned Allah.

And it always kept the body from sinning.

Deeds will say, O angels!

You will punish him

The angels look up to the heavens and say: O Allah, what is the command for this? Make his grave a paradise until he is present in our court on the Day of Judgment.

And if the deeds of this person are bad, then when the angels approached the footsteps, they would say, "These are the steps that led him to his sins. These are the hands with which he wronged others. He used to look at the non-mahram with filthy eyes. This is the tongue with which he used to show the heart of man. And when the angels look at Allah, then the voice of the unseen comes. He has used his body in my disobedience, misused the blessings given to me, and tasted this pain until he comes to me with this torment on the Day of Judgment.

Now when a fire burns in his grave, his grave begins to shrink, and the people around him say to him: O wretched man, you have seen with your own eyes that we have died before you.

One day you were about to die. You had a chance. Why didn't you do good deeds? Why didn't you realize Allah's creatures?

In such a short time he seems to be saying that I should be given another chance to worship Allah again.

So he is shown the time of the world of spirits when he lived in the world of spirits before he was born. From happiness to relief, the whole reality was shown to him in the spirit world, what will happen to him will be shown.

Then he begins to cry, "Alas, I have wronged myself. I have been running after my own desires. I wish no one else would do the same to me."

O man, remember that this life is a sleep and death is the name of awakening from this sleep.
