خداوند عالم نے انسان کو اشرف المخلوقات قرار دے کر روئے زمین پر اپنا خلیفہ بنایا اور انسان سے کہا کہ اپنے ارادہ و اختیار سے دنیا میں خدا کی خواہش پر عملدرآمدکرے، عقل جیسی نعمت دی اور ایک لاکھ چوبیس ہزار انبیاء بھیج کر ہدایت کا سامان مکمل کیا-چونکہ انسان کی خود اپنی بھی ضروریات اور خواہشات ہوتی ہیں اور انسان اس کے باوجود اپنی خواہشات پر خدا کی خواہشات کو ترجیح دے تو اس کا نام عبادت اور بندگی ہے۔جو خدا کے نزدیک فرشتوں کی عبادت سے زیادہ فضیلت اور اہمیت کی حامل ہے کیونکہ فرشتوں کی اپنی ذاتی خواہش اور ضرورت کچھ نہیں ہوتی ہے لیکن انسان جو کچھ عبادت کرتاہے وہ خدا کی خواہش کے تابع ہوکر کرتاہے اور اپنی خواہش کو اہمیت نہیں دیتا اس بناپر خداوند عالم نے کہا ”بے شک تمہاری کوششوں کی شکر گزاری کی جائے گی“

خداوند عالم نے اپنے دین کو اپنے انبیاء کے ذریعے لوگوں تک پہنچایا اور حضرت ابرہیم کے زمانے میں اس کا نام اسلام رکھا۔ اس دین کو خداوند عالم نے انسان کےلئے اپنا آئین، نظام اور قانون قرار دیا اسلامی تعلیمات میں ان کا مآخذ قرآن کریم ہے دین کی تعلیمات کو دو حصوں میں رکھا گیا ہے ایک علم اور دوسرا عمل جسے ہم عقیدہ اور عبادات کے نام سے جانتے ہیں۔ سکھانے کی منزل میں علماء اسلام نے انہیں دین کی بنیادوں اور شاخوں کی کے نام سے پہچنوایا ہے، یعنی

    1۔اصول دین 2۔ فروع دین 

اصول دین یعنی دین کی جڑیں جو علم کی بنیاد ہیں جسے عقیدہ اور نظریہ بھی کہا جاتا ہے۔ انکی تعداد پانچ ہے

  1۔ توحید 2۔ عدل 3۔ نبوت 4۔ امامت 5۔ قیامت

فروع دین یعنی دین کی شاخیں جو عمل ہیں اور عبادات کہلاتی ہے۔ انکی تعداد دس ہے

1 ۔ نماز 2۔ روزہ 3۔ حج 4۔ زکوٰۃ 5۔ خمس 6 ۔ جہاد 7۔ امر بالمعروف 8۔ نہی عن المنکر     

               9 ۔ تولا 10۔ تبرا

God Almighty declared man to be the noblest of creatures and made him his caliph on earth and told man to carry out God's will in the world by his own will and authority. Since man has his own needs and desires and man still prefers the desires of God over his own desires, his name is worship and servitude, which is more virtuous and important to God than the worship of angels. This is because the angels do not have any personal desires and needs, but man does whatever he worships in obedience to the will of God and does not give importance to his own desires. Therefore, God Almighty said, Will

God Almighty conveyed His religion to the people through His Prophets and named it Islam in the time of Abraham. God Almighty has declared this religion as His constitution, system and law for man. In Islamic teachings, their source is the Holy Qur'an. ۔ In teaching, Islamic scholars have introduced them as the foundations and branches of the religion, ie

Principles of religion are the roots of religion which are the basis of knowledge which is also called belief and ideology. There are five of them

  1. Monotheism 2. Justice 3. Prophecy 4 Imamate 5 day of judgement

The branches of religion are the branches of religion which are actions and are called acts of worship. There are ten of them

1. Prayer 2 Fasting 3. Hajj 4. Zakat 5. Khums 6. Jihad 7. Command to know 8. Prohibition of evil
