 مدینہ منورہ میں ایک یہودی رہتا تھا اس کا گھر مسجد نبوی والی گلی میں تھا۔

اس کا ایک کتا بھی تھا۔

حضور اکرم صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے تمام اصحاب نماز کے لیئے اسی گلی سے گزرتے تھے 

ان میں سے دو تین ایسے نمازی تھے جن پر یہودی کا کتا بھوکتا تھا اور کاٹتا تھا اور وہ نمازی کچھ دیر نماز پر پہنچتے تھے۔

ایک دن انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو اس کتے کی شکایت کی کہ ہم لوگ نماز پہ جب بھی آتے تو یہ کتا ہم پر بھوکتا اور کاٹتا بھی ہے اس لیئے نماز میں لیٹ ہو جاتے ہیں۔

تو آپ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم نے فرمایا اچھا تو یہ ماجرا ہے تو چلو اس کتے سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ وہ ہمارے نمازیوں کو کیوں کاٹتا ہے؟

نماز سے فارغ ہو کر پوری جماعت یہودی کے گھر جب پہنچی تو وہ کتا شرم کے مارے گھر کے اندر چلا گیا ایک صحابی نے دروازہ کھٹکھٹایا تو وہ یہودی آیا بہت ہی ادب اور احترام سے آپ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم کو سلام کیا اور کہا کہ آپ نے تکلیف کیوں کی مجھے بلا لیا ہوتا تو میں حاضر ہوتا

تو آپ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم نے فرمایا کہ مجھے آپ سے نہیں آپ کے کتے سے کچھ پوچھنا ہے ذرا اپنے کتے کو باہر لائیں

یہودی اپنے کتے کو باہر لایا۔

تو آپ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم نے کتے سے پوچھا کہ تو ہمارے نمازیوں کو کیوں تنگ وہ میرے نمازی اور میرے صحابی بھی ہیں۔

تو اس وقت اللّٰہ تعالیٰ نے اس کتے کو بولنے کی قوت عطا فرمائی اور وہ کتا کہنے لگا کہ حضور آپ کے تمام صحابہ کرام یہاں سے گزرتے ہیں میں ان کو تنگ نہیں کرتا۔

میں ان پر اس لیئے بھونکتا ہوں کیونکہ یہ مولا علی علیہ السلام پہ بھونکتے ہیں اور اس کی شان میں غستاخیاں کرتے ہیں اور مجھے مولا کی شان میں غستاخی برداشت نہیں ہوتی اس لیئے ان پر بھونکتا اور ان کو کاٹتا بھی اور کسی پر نہیں پر بھونکتا صرف ان پر بھونکتا ہوں

A Jew lived in Medina and his house was in the street of Masjid Nabavi.

He also had a dog.

All the companions of the Holy Prophet (sws) used to pass through this street for prayers.

Two or three of them were worshipers on whom a Jewish dog would starve and bite, and those worshipers would arrive at the prayer for a while.

One day he complained to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about this dog that whenever we come to prayer, this dog is hungry and bites us, so we lie down in prayer.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Well, this is the case, so let's ask this dog why he bites our worshipers.

When the whole congregation reached the house of the Jew after the prayer, the dog went inside the house in shame. A Companion knocked on the door and the Jew came. Why did you bother? I would have been present if you had called me

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: I do not want to ask you. I want to ask your dog something. Just bring your dog out.

The Jew brought out his dog.

So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked the dog, "Why do you bother our worshipers? They are also my worshipers and my companions."

At that time Allah Almighty gave this dog the power to speak and the dog began to say that the Holy Prophet (saw) passes by all his companions and I do not bother them.

I bark at them because they bark at Mawla Ali (as) and insult him in his honor and I do not tolerate insults in the honor of Mawla so I bark at them and cut them and I do not bite at anyone I just stare at them
