امام علی علیہ السّلام کی خدمت میں ایک شخص آیا اور دست ادب کو جوڑ کہ عرض کرنے لگا کہ

یا علی علیہ السّلام انسان زندگی میں ذلیل کیوں ہوتا ہے 

بس۔۔۔۔

یہ کہنا تھا 

امام علی علیہ السّلام نے فرمایا اے شخص یاد رکھنا انسان ذلیل اپنی عادتوں سے ہوتا ہے اللّٰہ ہر انسان کو ایک مقام بخشنا چاہتا ہے قدرت بار بار  انسان کی مدد کے لیے ہاتھ بڑھاتی رہتی ہے لیکن انسان کی کچھ عادتیں انسان کو بے عزتی کی دلدل میں دس لیتی ہیں اور یوں انسان خلقت کے نزدیک ذلیل ہونے لگتا ہے 

تو ہو کہنے لگا یا علی وہ کونسی عادتیں ہیں

تو امام علی علیہ السّلام نے فرمایا

اے شخص جس انسان کے اندر یہ تین عادتیں ہوں وہ اللّٰہ کی خلقت کے نزدیک بے عزت اور ذلیل ہو جاتا ہے 

پہلی عادت جو فضول خرچ کرتا ہو کیوں کہ میں نے اللّٰہ کے رسول سے سنا کہ فضول خرچ شیطان کی صفت ہے  کیوں کہ جو انسان فضول خرچ کرتا وہ مفلس ہو کہ ذلیل ہو جاتا ہے 

اور دوسرا جھوٹ بولنا کیوں کہ میں نے اللّٰہ کے رسول سے سنا کہ جو انسان اللّٰہ کی خلقت سے جھوٹ بولتا ہے وہ دن بدن ذلیل ہو جاتا ہے

اور تیسرا غصہ کرنا کیوں میں نے اللّٰہ کے رسول سے سنا کہ جو انسان اللّٰہ کی خلقت سے غصہ کرتا رہتا ہے اللّٰہ مخلوق کی دلوں سے اتر جاتا ہے اور بے عزتی کی دلدل میں گر کر ذلیل ہونے لگتا ہے 

اے شخص تم ان تین چیزوں سے خود کو بچا لو تم تا ابد تا حیات محترم رہو گے 

A man came to the service of Imam Ali (as) and folded his hands and began to beg

Or why is Ali (as) humiliated in human life?

Bus....

That was to say

Imam Ali (as) said: O man, remember that man is humiliated by his habits. Allah wants to give a place to every human being. Takes ten and thus man begins to be humiliated in the sight of creation

So Ho or Ali started saying what are those habits

So Imam Ali (as) said:

O man who has these three habits in him, he becomes disgraced and humiliated in the sight of Allah's creation.

The first habit of spending in vain because I heard from the Messenger of Allah that wasteful spending is an attribute of Satan because a person who spends in vain is poor or humiliated.

And the second is to tell a lie because I have heard from the Messenger of Allah that whoever tells a lie about Allah's creation is humiliated day by day.

And the third is to be angry. Why did I hear from the Messenger of Allah that whoever is angry with the creation of Allah, Allah descends from the hearts of the creatures and falls into the mire of disgrace and begins to be humiliated?

O man, save yourself from these three things, you will be honored forever
